Agale janam mohe bitiya hi kijo..

I was watching "Umrao Jaan" (new one), last night and realized all daughters are so attached with there fathers and same is with me ...
Me n my father will fight for hours and we will never agree.... if he says left, i'll say right... but above all i love him a lot ... and missing him a lot... frown emoticon
heard the song in the movie... "Aab jo kiye ho daata, aisa na keejo... aagle janam mohe bitiya na keejo..." and almost had tears in my eyes... and realised no matter how modern we become, girls are still considered to be "paraya dhaan",in other words Burden, it must be sounding too cliche but its true...
I can say it cos am going thru it ... i saw my parents so worried for my marriage and things not happening, etc.. etc..
I don't know why Marriage for a gal is considered to be so important... a guy can stay bachelor till watever age he wants but for a gal, she needs to marry at a particular age...
i can always understand there concern, as they stay in a society where people questions you again n again .. thats why i just hate this community or society affair....
If any of ur realtives calls u thr second question after hi-hello is "Aur beti ki shadi kab kar rahe ho," and followd by 10 stupid good for nothing proposals... ah! its all so damn irritating..
these lines of the song were most touching....
“ro bhi naa paave aisi gudiyaa naa ki jo
agale janam mohe bitiyaa naa ki jo -
jo ab kiye ho daataa aisaa naa ki jo
agale janam mohe bitiyaa naa ki jo"
